On Jan. 15, an elderly male affected person at Texas Wellness Harris Methodist Clinic Southwest asked a client treatment technician for assistance connecting to the hospital’s wifi network, which led to the technician finding lewd photographs of children on the notebook, the Fort Worthy of Star-Telegram reported

The technician reported the incident to her supervisor, who opened an investigation with hospital safety, which bundled Martin, who was operating in an off-obligation ability. As an alternative of seizing the laptop and reporting the crime, officers said Martin deleted the photos, in accordance to the Star-Telegram.

Martin, a 16-calendar year veteran with the law enforcement division, was arrested on March 29 after he was indicted. Prior to his arrest, Martin was put on unpaid suspension whilst the administrative investigation was becoming finalized.

Officers reported Martin violated several department policies.
