Google Docs Draftback to See Typing History
When learners are employing Google Docs you can use the Draftback Chrome extension to review their edits on the doc like a motion picture. You can use this to check out student development or to detect plagiarism in Google Docs.
Draftback is a Chrome extension. It does NOT gather person details. Having said that, it could be blocked by your Google Workspace Apps Admin. You should get in touch with them to have it unblocked since in many cases extensions are blocked by default by your college.
Using Draftback
Right after setting up the Draftback Chrome extension you will see a button in the upper proper of the doc indicating how several revisions there are. Click on the revision to see a online video of what appears like the scholar typing the document.
Detect Plagiarism in Google Docs
If you suspect a scholar of plagiarizing you can use Draftback to see if they pasted a big amount of text at after. Recognize in the animation previously mentioned that it shows typing character by character.
If you are a Google Classroom user you can also use the plagiarism tool. It only will work on Google Docs, as does Draftback.
